Breakwater Flag Project
The Santa Barbara Yacht Club, in partnership with the Waterfront Department of the City of Santa Barbara, is dedicated to the stewardship of the flags along the harbor breakwater, originally conceived by the late Paul Chadbourne Mills. The flags represent the diverse spectrum of philanthropic and non-profit organizations within the Santa Barbara community benefiting local, national, and worldwide service projects. The mission of the Santa Barbara Yacht Club is to maintain and promote the flag project and to honor the tradition which it represents.
